I need a vacation!!! Desperately!!!
Hawai, Rome.. I so wanna see Rome.

I feel like throwing up on my diploma. My grandma died yesterday. But I'm thinking maybe it's better. she was mentally and phsically fit. She was 85. I think that's a nice way to end.

I have too many ideas. i wanna manip and fanart and icon. I found this gorgeous website with gay pics while I was searching for pics of santa.

I have icons to share once i get home, but first, I wanna remind you to

a) joun 12months. it's a really cool graphic calendar challenge. and well, I don't sthink the invites I sent out arrived anywhere. Cann you tell me if you got some?

I've found in other communities that the "invites" don't actually get sent out... a person has to be signed into LJ, and look at this page (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/invites.bml) to see if they have pending invites. That's what I did with 12months.

I have a question about that community, too, and I hope you don't mind me asking here... I'm a little confused about the size of the printable version. When I tried to open a document with the dimensions in the community info (36.12cm x 27.09cm), it seemed really really big. Is that right?

That#s the scary thing about print. It looks huge ass on the screen and is relatively small when you print it. or do you think the centimeter size is too big too. cos on the screen it depends on the resolution. 150 is ok, 300 is extremely good quality. I think it's pixels/Zoll...I need to find the english word for that when I get home. It is a bit larger then a4.

oh...the proportions are the same... you can downsize the print version to the web version.

The Boyd site is lovely. Heh, he really does look like an adult Draco, though with Tom Felton shooting up so much as of late that's almost a moot point. Still a very, very pretty young man. You did a wonderful job on the site.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts during this painful time. It's hard, I know. I lost my grandma in 2003, and I still miss her terribly.

The calendar community seems really interesting. And it's not all fandom stuff, which is cool. I'd love to be able to actually show real life people something when they ask "what are you doing on that computer all day??" But I'd like to see how it's done first. The whole PDF, 150dpi thing is all new & confusing - I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. But after Saturday I'll be leaving my computer for 2 weeks while I'm home for break. Hopefully I won't go insane without photoshop. :)

I wish I had time to create an example to show it, but for print it is important to create the images that size...that quality. I'd go insane without photoshop.
